Home
It’s my fourth day home and I’m feeling great. Everything has been magical. It’s one of these, where, things are happening better than you can ever dream about. Everything.
The across-sea flight was wonderful; the one from London to Sofia not so much. We had it all – loud, screaming and crying babies, unpleasantly looking people, rednecks from Bulgaria etc. I got here ok though, including my luggage.
My mother’s reaction shocked me. I expected her to jump all over me and she did just the opposite. She said, “Oh, god that’s not you, the way I remember you! You have changed.” It was my hair (in a fohog, all pointy in the middle) and the beard. Of course it only took me to take the hair down and everything was goooooood.
My brother, on the other hand, totally loved me. He was very impressed with my physique and how grown up I look. I was very relieved to see that my family hasn’t changed- they haven't gotten old and wrinkly. My mom looks great.

Fligh over seas
I’m seated on 33D and there is a wall before me – no TV screen. I’m opening the baby-changing thing in front of me, but no screen either. I’m staring to freak out; I wanna watch the silly plane movies. “I guess no TV for us,” I said to the person next to me, “I guess not. I don’t see one”. Just when I’m starting to feel desperate the guy, 2 seats further, says, “there’s one under your seat”. I totally thought he is kidding. I looked though, and nothing, but then magically the person next to me pulled a TV screen from the side of his seat. WOW, totally cool! Entirely relieved I settled and relaxed.
It’s 9.30 and the plane left @ 5.55, so that makes 3 hours of flying. I’m looking @ the little screen and the map says that we are half way through. I love the map; it totally reminds me of the old movies where travels are always clarified by showing the map and a punctured line. I don’t know why but I always get excited to see the map in movies, it just always cracks me up.
Local time of origin 21:10
Time to destination 4.34
Local time at destination 2:10
Altitude 36000 feet
Going speed 964 km/h
Outside temperature –59 C (cold)
Beccam took me to the airport and she took care of me the whole time. It’s funny how I’m all grown up but with Beccam I’m the kid. LOL
The flight is going very smooth. Well I’m also buzzed. After the traditional, for flying, Bloody Mary and two plane-size bottles of red wine and not much food today, no wonder.
Interestingly, I saw a movie I thought I will never like and actually died laughing and cried just about 14 times. I’m thinking, “I don’t remember the last time I cried on a movie.” I was totally laughing though. Oh, the movie – DUH! It’s 51st dates. The funniest thing was that the guy (man in his late 40’s) was wiping too.
I feared having crying babies on the plane and thank god we had non. We had, however, a snoring fat guy, who slept and snored all through the flight.

I love my friend DD and I wish I was able to hang out more with her. We grow up together and we've been close since we were teenagers - mom used to say that DD is her daughter. We were very close in Bulgaria, I think that we still are but, just don't have time to get together. She is also an aquarius, and being that, she is extremely committed to her husband and family. I wish that her mom wasn't so hard on her for marrying someone who has a child. I know how much DD is hurt by the disapproval of her mom.

The Big Day
The countdown is down to 1. I'm flying tomorrow. I believe that I have everything ready to go.
While talking with Beccam yesterday she said that she would give me a ride to the airport and I feel very special. I'm going to see my old friends and family in BG, but I also feel that I have whom to comeback to in the US. I feel happy to say that I finally have people that I like and they like me. It takes time to make friends. I still don't think that friends are favors. I guess friends do favors for each other but because they like each other and it feels good to do something special for a friend. My friends always make me feel special.
Beccam thank you for all the attention you've given me.

Just Curious
I'm trying to put up a picture from my yahoo email album. Lets try a picture of Zakki & Bobby
Apparently I only succeeded to place a picture but I can't make it as a hyperlink because of security issues.
I still find it fascinating though.

Advancing
I'm getting better with posting pix in my blog. I did take some privet lessons with Beccam yesterday, though. That's totally cool.

Have desire but not power
I had a long, fun and exhausting day. I don't have any energy to write about it, but maybe tomorrow.
I got all kinds of odds and inns done and it all was fun.
Hung out at the radio with Steff – totally fascinating. I was blown away by her skills and professionalism
Got a Reebok gift certificate from the Rose (won it while being on the air with Steff)
With certificate got me few free important things for my trip to BG
Pair of red suede shoos
Two fashion-statement wrist bends
Two pairs of white half socks with a black line
Two pairs of black half socks
Bought a voltage converter which I can use in Europe and Middle East; England and Africa; Thailand and the Philippines as well as in Australia and New Zealand
Got a spare pare of shorts – Gap (very trendy for only 12 bucks)
Last but not least, another purchase, long time wanted Tom of Finland T-shirt
I just talked with my dear friend Ricardo from NY and told him about my blog. He gave me shit because I haven’t wrote about him and didn’t wanna hear that it’s not the best to write retrospectively.
“Ricardo you are in here too”

I also, finally, got an appointment with Beccam and we’ll see each other tomorrow.
I thing that that’s enough blah blah for today it’s time for the outdoor shower and sleepiness. LOL – outdoor shower!

Early Birds Special
It’s 5.24am. It’s early, very, very early! The last time I was here was 5 hours ago – I think I’m a “blogoholic”.
I took an outdoor shower last night though. It’s very refreshing. As an extra if the dryer is running you get warm air in your feet LOL. I think I'll shower there again.
I got up so early because I’m going to the radio station to hang out with Steff – exciting!!! I wanna see the whole thing from 6.00 to 11.00.

Outdoor Showers
I think that outdoor showers are hilarious… Mark just fixed the one outside of his house so I’m going to jump outside in the shower and go to bed. LOL
I don’t know why but I find it sort of weird and erotic in the same time. It must be the exhibitionist in me.
Outdoor showers are a crazy thing. I know, I know it’s for when you come back from the beach. But I'm Seriously taking one, it’s only 11.30 at night!

Drum Stick Toes
I have another exciting thing today – I found the best thing I thought I had lost. It’s a rough draft of an IM chat with Beccam. It was one of these things that happen spontaneously and is forever (like diamonds). I don’t actually thing that it takes a lot of introduction; it speaks for it self – it is a cream of the crop!
shukadarov: I was listening to the Rose morning show and they had a discussion about toes. They r hilarious.
Beccam: toes? Toes in socks, or just toes?
shukadarov: big toe = KFC drum stick LOL
Beccam: LOL
shukadarov: and if your second and 3rd toes are big they r called the twin towers
shukadarov: or maybe toers LOL
Beccam: oh, my gosh.... now I want to check my toes!
shukadarov: take your socks of, check and if u thing they are remarkable call Dan and Stephanie LOL
Beccam: I just don't want to called KFC toes on the beach this summer, or in the gym locker room. That would be embarrassing
shukadarov: then lets invest in R&D for toe plastic surgery or put it on the budget for next quarter. LOL
shukadarov: along with the tooth bridges
Beccam: Oh yes, we could go into home plastic surgery kits, so people can fix their toes in the privacy of their homes
shukadarov: No, a better idea!!! Let’s develop a toe work out, open a special gym, sell a tape on TV and even make a college class. We can make some big bucks with the slogan - summer is coming, slim down your chunky toes. Next product could be something of the type Leftoprin that is too strong and too expensive for the casual dieter.
Beccam: oh my gosh... we could film late night infomercials with has-been celebrities promoting the tapes and workout
Shukadarov: I have an idea - Cindy Crauford (or however u spell her name) she would be perfect
Beccam: oh she would... she has that mole on her face. We'll have tow work on that
shukadarov: I can see it - are u tired of your drumstick on your feet? do u wanna have Cindy’s toes? Then join the club "slim toe" call now 1 800 S-L-I-M T-O-E and u'll get a free tape.
shukadarov: LOL
Beccam: you even got the telephone number right... you should go into marketing and advertising
shukadarov: Crap!!! I gotta go I’m late. have a nice toe.. I mean a nice day!

Soooo Happy
I’m so happy, I’m so, so happy!
Last Friday I got an email from my management professor’s mom (funny):
Milen, I'm substituting for Michael and am also a Business Dept. Professor (and Mike's Mom). I've downloaded your SWOT, Case Study Analysis & Personal Case Analysis and they all look good. You haven't taken your final exam and I will have to give you an Inc. grade as Mike stipulated all tests & semester work was to be completed by August 6th. Please acknowledge receipt of this e-mail with thru Michael's e-mail address or mine.
Well I freaked out because she didn’t mention receiving my Power point presentation, which I worked on for few sleepless night and I also, had taken the final on time. However, I wrote her an email letting her know that I have done everything and on time. Guess what followed… waiting! It is almost a week later and I just got the good news:
Milen,
Everything was received and you have an “A” for the course.
Congratulations,
Dot Burrill (Michael's Mom)
I can’t help it I’m very excited – I don’t remember working so hard on a class since my first course in the US (Oral communication with professor Beast Monster ).
Yheiiiiiii!

Laptop Addiction
Beccam asked me if I’m taking the laptop with me and that reminded me of an old and funny story. One of Mucha's cousins had been in the US forever; he is also DD’s good friend. The story takes place 4 years ago. I didn’t like him at all I thought that he is a big, fat, Americanized and pretentious ass. His top line was “oh, I miss being home (in US) to get up in the morning check my email, drink coffee and red the newspaper”.
And now look at me, I really hate to drag the laptop with me but I don’t see myself without it. I have to show pictures, write, make sure that all my bills are ok, and check my email. I’m hooked man!

Tired
I'm tired and have to go to bed, but I'm happy to have blogged today. I also cleaned my room today (after a month of life on the verge), and started packing for my trip to BG. I'm carrying 3 Discman’s, two digital cameras, a laptop and a 35mm camera with me. I hope that the assholes on the BG border won't give me any shit for it.
I have so much to do...

Missed Karaoke
Stephanie called me this past Friday, I haven’t seen them for couple of weeks and I missed them a lot, and we decided to hang out the next day. Although I had staid up till 5.00am and I went to work I showed up at their house after work on Saturday. It was good seeing them as always. We had tons of food and drinks – chips + dips, crackers + crab dip, popcorn chicken in Buffalo wings sauce + blue cheese dressing, taco dip (my favorite), and of course stake and sausages, and for dessert strawberry short cake. The original plan was to go to karaoke at the Falmouth inn but we never made it there cuz I was exhausted and so was everyone else. That doesn’t mean that we were bored! In the middle of cooking we heard music and Steff said that there is a party going on the beach. It’s actually a very neat pond right across the street from where they live. While checking the party out one of the mermaids, lying on a beach chair wrapped in towels, exclaimed, “are you guys twins?” I didn’t know who was she referring to but ended up being me and Cliff – funny. I don’t know why but I thought that all this people live in the pond and have legs only for the party and after dark falls their legs turn into fins and they have to crawl back into the pond. After a beer there, with the merpeople, we walked back to the house and me and Stephanie decided that we have to do a hip-hop dance. That was so funny that Cliff took a camcorder and recorded. I think that the whole thing started because we were watching old tapes of Steff, Jenny and Heather doing jazz-ballet. After this exhausting rehearsal we all decided to go back to the “mer” party. It was dark as in a dog ass so we barley made it there alive. For some reason, I don’t know why, we didn’t joint the party but went back to the house. On our way, however, the teenagers in us spoke. Jenny had her cell phone as a light in the dark, but then she decided to be spooky and put it under her chin talking about the Blair’s project movie. I came up with the idea that she should do the “I know what you did last summer”. That was hilarious – jenny screaming of the top of her lungs “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME”, shaking her arms with tight fists and the tendons of her neck poking out. It was so inspiring that, when we went back to the house, Jenny and I took pictures in a dark room with a flashlight only. She said that she could act it. I had her sit on the flour and I even threw few pieces of clothing around her (foe more dramatic effect) so she was screaming like crazy – “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM MEEEEEE”. My camera has a delay so she switched to “WHAT'S GOING ON... TAKE THE FUCKING PICTURE” but continued screaming for the role.
They also made me a CD with all the “Blue room” hits from this summer so I can bring it to Bulgaria. I thought that was sweet of them.
I actually had pictures of the whole thing (including the hip-hop dance and the flashlight) but erased them by mistake yesterday. I erased the pictures so bad that even Master Beccam couldn’t help me find them on my PC. I was sad the whole day because of it – and I looked so cute on the hip-hop pictures.

I went to karaoke and
I went to karaoke and the place was packed. The first people I ran on, though, were Dom’s friends – Daniel, Mark and Geno. I didn’t feel like asking them the QUESTION – where’s Dom so I decided, instead, to go back on Commercial street where I got a message from him that he is, actually, in the bar next door. I never liked this bar, it’s dark, dungy and for some weird reason they play inappropriate movies there. We didn’t even talked that much and I was totally disappointed. People are bizarre!!! I felt bored and unnoticed so I said that I’m going next door. As soon as I walked out of the Vault (that’s the name of the leather bar) someone called my name - Dom followed me and started talking to me – everything was just fine… Afterwards we went back next door to find out that the karaoke has nothing to do with the one I’m used to (the one at the Falmouth Inn). Falmouth Inn’s karaoke ROCKS and I miss going there.
I then went out for a smoke and started talking whit the “lighter” guy – Tom. He ended up being cool dude from NY as well as all the people I’ve met lately, meaning they are all from the big apple. We were laughing so hard on the stories I had to tell that all of a sudden it was 1.00am – time for the clubs to close and time for Spiritus (the pizza place on Commercial that everyone goes to for, some call it, after hours chat, and I simply call it pizza poluza). Spiritus was fun as always.
Today was raining so I hung out at the Burch House (favorite place to stay in P-town) with Math and friends; I was waiting for the rain to stop. While waiting though I accidentally got smoked by my friends and I spent the next few hours wandering the streets in complete nirvana and lack of stress about my final. I wanted to go see the “Village” but missed the projection. At one point Dennis called me and we went to the “Post office” for lunch (favorite place to eat in P-town). It was hysterical, I was totally laughing and Dennis was embarrassed, but he laughed too. I kept on saying “in my world we are 10 minutes behind”. Couple of hours later my head cleared up and I wandered what exactly am I still doing in town but then remembered that the mission wouldn’t be completed if I didn’t have a photo trophy. Then time started to cut closer (I wish I could put some dramatic music effect while writing that but you can imagine it)! However, it was a happy ending (me and my brother love the happy “endove” ), last minute I was able to snap few pictures – included. So, cutting it really close I jumped in my car and off to my exam.
This time I was placed in a scary room with anti-cheat cameras so no open book exam I figured. I thing I did very well or at least much, much better than on my midterm. I was done way early – I was done in an hour versus two.
If you look at this picture, you see I look like a sabertooth squirrel.

Burning desire
I can’t wait to have some time to blog. My hands are so itchy. Tomorrow is my last day of summer class and I’m hoping to be able to write.
I’m waiting to see Dominic, but more about that tomorrow… I’m a little bit frustrated with anticipation! Ha-ha, I'm intrigued and I feel like a teenager.
Work sucks and I'm happy to have the day off. I Actually did something crazy today - I got up at 6.30 finished watching the last lecture, fixed my room, went over half the stuff for my final tomorrow, drove to school to pay my fall classes, then to the gym and back home to get ready for my insanity. I’m in P-town now! I got here at 4.00 and went to the pool, where I studied for couple of hours, with refreshing pool-breaks. Then wandered the streets hoping to see Dom – well, no luck so far. I’m going to a karaoke bar to cheer my self up though.
I figured, summer is so short that I have to take a full advantage of it, so here I’m enjoying my self.
