Hang on Tight
Five days to D-Day, otherwise known as Donna's eviction day. This doesn't mean much considering the lawyer can't be in court until the following Monday, and then it is at the discretion of the sherrif to expedite her removal. Our luck has not been super in the process, so we are refraining from the adrenalin rushing excitement until we can plow the door down and replace it with "ours!". Many plans have been made for restoration, but not without battle. It seems that very few people feel obligated to do their jobs well, or even do them for that matter. A customer these days has to fight for what they are paying for, a sad situation considering we have made the move toward a service oriented economy. So as usual, we sit and wait. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it still feels surreal. It will be nice to have time alone. Hard to believe it has been 7 months today:)
School is done...for two weeks that is. I am especially happy that I survived my first semester at a new school. No small feat but I think my busy schedule and devotion to school work kept me too focused to panic. Summer classes start the day after Memorial Day and I am psyched. Adolescent psych, Social psych, and Psych of Criminal Behavior. If I like the latter, it could send a career choice my way. We shall see. I will also blog when I receive grades, scholarships, and my degree. Two out of three are guaranteed, the other hopeful.
So with so many changes happening in my life, I am thinking about doing an overhaul on the blog. Not sure where I am going with it, but then again I didn't have direction when Cookie started it for me. I feel like I should pick a theme and run with it. My blogs have been a bit superficial and silly, and I am not committing to changing that. I just feel that I have changed greatly as a person, and I should make some adjustments so that my blog conveys my personality more accurately. If you have any suggestions, please comment. I suppose I could increase input by offering a rubber ducky as a prize(thats how I won mine). If there is no feedback, I will be forced to bribe you with bathtoys. Now get thinking!

UGULL
Presenting....UGULL! Ok, so I didn't have a camera, but you can trust me on this one. I know I get my education at a low-budget school. In fact, it is the cheapest alternative for a 4 year degree around! That said, do we really have to replace the cockadoodledo of a rooster with the sqwak of a sea gull so early in the morning. I think at this point in the semester, I am tired enough that I am consistently punch drunk. So when I was walking towards campus center, the sqwak of said bird gave me quite the laugh. The lone gull, standing with his chest pushed forward, looked quite proud to be reciting his morning announcements for all of us to hear. He was quite robust, leading me to believe that he has been sustaining himself on Sky Ranch Grill onion rings from the nearby dumpster. If it takes something like a dirty bird to make me smile, bygumit, he can stay! I have named him UGULL. If you can't figure that out, hint...I go to UMASS. If you still need help, I pitty you. I hope that he will greet me in the mornings this summer, as I shlep up to this building for class. OH...on a zippy go Toadie with PMS note... I finished my first UMASS class today. How super. One more day to the weekend.
