Hang on Tight

Five days to D-Day, otherwise known as Donna's eviction day. This doesn't mean much considering the lawyer can't be in court until the following Monday, and then it is at the discretion of the sherrif to expedite her removal. Our luck has not been super in the process, so we are refraining from the adrenalin rushing excitement until we can plow the door down and replace it with "ours!". Many plans have been made for restoration, but not without battle. It seems that very few people feel obligated to do their jobs well, or even do them for that matter. A customer these days has to fight for what they are paying for, a sad situation considering we have made the move toward a service oriented economy. So as usual, we sit and wait. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it still feels surreal. It will be nice to have time alone. Hard to believe it has been 7 months today:)

School is done...for two weeks that is. I am especially happy that I survived my first semester at a new school. No small feat but I think my busy schedule and devotion to school work kept me too focused to panic. Summer classes start the day after Memorial Day and I am psyched. Adolescent psych, Social psych, and Psych of Criminal Behavior. If I like the latter, it could send a career choice my way. We shall see. I will also blog when I receive grades, scholarships, and my degree. Two out of three are guaranteed, the other hopeful.

So with so many changes happening in my life, I am thinking about doing an overhaul on the blog. Not sure where I am going with it, but then again I didn't have direction when Cookie started it for me. I feel like I should pick a theme and run with it. My blogs have been a bit superficial and silly, and I am not committing to changing that. I just feel that I have changed greatly as a person, and I should make some adjustments so that my blog conveys my personality more accurately. If you have any suggestions, please comment. I suppose I could increase input by offering a rubber ducky as a prize(thats how I won mine). If there is no feedback, I will be forced to bribe you with bathtoys. Now get thinking!

Have you considered something in a favorite fleece pattern? That would be a good look for your blog!

Looks like the wait may be over sooner than we thought... :)

I LOVE YOU!
